Nicky was a very special young man.  He was like a son to me and a brother to my children.  We met when he was eleven years old.  Since the day we met I could see Nicky was a sweet, kind boy.  He was very respectful and always said please and thank you.  He was the most unselfish teenager I knew.  He always put the needs of others ahead of his own.  He was a loyal friend and son.   We became especially close four years ago when he was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.  Through all the ups and downs Nicky never complained or gave up.  He had an incredible faith that helped him through the most difficult times of his life.  He had a great sense of humor and a radiant smile.  Nicky brought a lot of love and happiness to a lot of people's lifes.  He touched the hearts of many.   Whether you knew him for a while or just met him for a second, you would never be able to forget him.  His physical presence is no longer here, but he will live FOREVER through the people that he touched.  Until we meet again.  I love you Nicky.  We miss you . Rest in Peace.
